YOGA CLASSES & SPIRIT FITNESS


Yoga Classes and Fitness Programs at Veracis Wellness are offered in registered, seven to twelve week class programs by Certified Instructors, ensuring you receive personalized attention for your weekly yoga practice.   The maximum number of participants is limited to eight people, unless otherwise noted. Veracis Wellness provides complimentary use of disinfected yoga mats, straps, blankets, eye pillows and props.  Yoga Class format begins with centering and grounding, moving into yoga postures.  Every class finishes with a peaceful meditation and complimentary cup of soothing herbal tea, all within a safe, healing environment.

 Holiday Candlelight Hatha Yoga
Four classes for you to enjoy inner peace.  An ambiance of candlelight greets you as you retreat to nourish your Spirit, mind and body, unwind your mind, and stretch away the tension so often associated with the holidays. Once a week, you'll retreat to replenish your energy, allowing you to enjoy the holidays with inner calm. 
A lavender eye pillow soothes your tired eyes and a soft blanket comforts your body as your relax in your finishing peaceful meditation pose.

Sunshine Hatha 
If the wet weather and shorter days leave you feeling low then this is the class for you!  You'll stretch, relax and positively smile in this gentle yoga class.  A lavender eye pillow soothes your tired eyes, booties warm your feet and a soft blanket comforts your body as your relax in your finishing peaceful meditation pose.   
A cup of Sunshine Lemon Rooibos Herbal tea finishes your Veracis Yoga experience as you continue through the rest of your week smiling on the inside and outside!

Meditation - Cardio – Core Strengthening Yoga

   

Before you go home and settle in for the night, treat your body and spirit to a stress reducing, strength building yoga fitness class.   Also known as Flow Yoga or Power Yoga, this once a week series builds on increasing flexibility and strength to link breathing techniques through the practice of Sun Salutations, while nurturing self-awareness.  Each class begins and ends with a brief meditation.   Previous experience with yoga is required.

   Restorative Yoga
Beginners Welcome!  This gentle, calming class uses supported poses, breath work and sound to release tension and activate the body's natural healing system.  Approximately four to six "easy" poses are experienced during each class allowing you to gently and comfortably relax and release tension.  Leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Yoga Sampler
Laugh and learn as you explore the various yoga styles of Hatha, Restorative, and Vinyasa, each finishing with peaceful meditation, and a cup of herbal tea.  Leave with a clearer understanding of which yoga style works best for you.

   Chakra Hatha Yoga 
More than just Hatha Yoga, this is a Veracis Wellness Signature!!  Your instructor introduces you to the philosophy of the seven primary chakras and their relationship to your yoga practice.  Explore the physical and emotional associations of each chakra, and how to integrate your yoga practice with your body’s natural energy centers to bring balance and harmony to your body and your life.  Weekly classes include topic discussion followed with poses related to each chakra center, relaxation meditation and complimentary cup of herbal tea.  Leave this yoga class with an understanding of your energy centers in relationship with your body and how to utilized Hatha yoga poses to encourage balance.  Handouts included.

  Introduction to Hatha Yoga
If you've never tried yoga before, or if you'd like to learn more then this program will offer you an opportunity to learn what traditional Hatha Yoga is about.  You'll learn the basics of integrating breath and body movement through a safe and gentle yoga practice.  This Hatha yoga class includes a peaceful meditation as you relax with a lavender eye pillow placed on your eyes, booties to warm your feet and a soft blanket to tuck you in. Enjoy a complimentary cup of herbal tea before you leave.
