Everything in the universe is made of energy vibrating at different frequencies. Solid matter is easiest for us to relate to because we see it as tangible - your physical body, the table, clothing, car, etc. Your thoughts and emotions are also made of energy and while we cannot see them physically, we can see their effect on our body, from within as well as the thoughts of others.
How you relate to thoughts, emotions and physical environments will depend on your connection with Spirit. Spirit defines your core essence, intention and integrity. The stillness, peace of mind, contentment and happiness you seek is accessed from within. The most effective way to nurture Spirit is through meditating. Learning and practicing a disciplined meditation accelerates your personal and spiritual growth.

Imagine yourself viewing a movie screen with centered awareness. Who you are as spirit, (also known as the witness), observes the thoughts, sensations and emotions as separate from the core self.
The current physical discomfort, frustration, or confusion does not define ‘you as spirit’, and you have the power to change your reality. With continued practice you discover there is something bigger inside you, your core essence, your spirit. From here you gain insights and understanding to who you are, what you need and what you want.

How long are Meditation Classes?
Offered equally to men and women, in five consecutive levels, meditation classes provide ongoing support throughout the year, allowing you to continue at a pace that is convenient to you.
Complimentary herbal tea is provided.

Level I 7 week series - 90 minutes, once a week

Level II 4 week series 2 hours, once a week

Level III 4 week series 2 hours, once a week

Level IV 7 week series, 2 hours, once a week
Level V 11 months, 3 hours a week plus retreat
How big are your classes?
Our meditation classes are small sizes (approximately 7-8 people), so that everyone can ask questions and receive relevant feedback.
Where do we Meditate?
Seated comfortably in chairs, new topics are introduced every week through instruction, directed experiential meditation and student teacher interaction at Veracis Wellness Center, 86 Moody Street, Port Moody, B. C. You will also be asked to practice meditating at home between classes.
Do I need to take Level I if I already meditate?
Yes. Veracis Meditation Level I lays the foundation for future levels.
Waivers & Confidentiality
You will be asked to read and sign a meditation waiver before beginning your first class. Class guidelines are established at the beginning of the first class to establish clear, respectful boundaries. Your information remains confidential to Veracis Wellness Inc.
